Farming is an Art.
It takes skill.
A knowledge passed down generation by generation. Dedication. Time. Blood. Sweat. Tears.
Farmers do not paint with brushes on a canvas, or mold fine sculptures to be set in galleries. They paint with science and genetics - ever flowing with the seasons. There is a time and place to do everything strategically.
They must have an understanding of Biology, Zoology, Basic Mechanics, and Meteorology. In reality they are one of the most underestimated, brilliant, and crucially important artists of all.
Without their passion, dedication and skill with Mother Earth and all creatures within it - since the beginning of time - the human race simply would not exist.
Around the globe farmers have tied in beauty with function by creating unique and breathtakingly beautiful works of art along their way. From the Purple Dragon Carrot, to Glass Gem Corn, to the Massive Percheron, down to the Barred Plymouth Rock - these are all works of art by a farmer somewhere.
Here I have gathered some very amateur attempts to capture some of those masterpieces.
